WordStar is one of the earliest commercially successful word processors out there. It has been produced for CP/M, MS-DOS, and Windows. There appear to be different version trees for Windows, MS-DOS and CP/M. Also there appear to be differing editions.

There appears to be an existing copy of v2.26 floating around the internet.

version 3.3 Edit

Wordstar v 3.3 existed on both CP/M-86 and CP/M-80.

version 4.0 Edit

Version 4.0 apparently was built from the source code for both Wordstar 3.x and NewWord, which was purchased by MicroPro,
