Wiki means "quick" in the Hawaiian language, hence the term was used from a company of bus shuttles in the country. A wiki is a collection of pages all interconnected. The first website to be called a "wiki" was in 1994/1995, created by Ward Cunningham. Many types of wiki websites exist, including the ones in the examples below. Wikipedia is one of, if not the most, common wiki website on the Internet, being one of the largest encyclopedias editable by anyone, registered or anonymous.
